We felt that it would be useful if we gave you a bit of an overview about us.

Our lives are hectic and every day we learn life lessons, but we are generally happy!

  1. We are…

… a blended family of seven comprising five children aged 11, 10, 8, 6 and 5, and an adult couple. Biologically, we have no children together, but that doesn’t matter. Together, we are a very busy, hectic, happy family of seven!

  1. We live…

… all together sometimes, but mainly we have just the two of us and two children (8 and 6). We have a four-bedroomed detached house in the Norfolk countryside with a decent-sized garden. There is definitely no room for pets!

  1. We love…

… days out to the coast. Great Yarmouth is one of our favourite places to visit; there is something for everyone. We love strolling along the beach, paddling in the sea and visiting the amusement parks and arcades.

  1. We dislike…

… a lack of routine. We are all creatures of habit, so this current situation with Covid-19 is making life tough for us all. Knowing what we are doing and when is something all of us crave.

  1. We hope…

… that things can go back to normal very soon. We are also big believers in giving to others if at all possible. From donations to the local foodbank to gifts for the homeless, our children understand the importance and take their time to choose items according to their suitability, value and quantity.

  1. We wish…

… that one day soon, we will be able to go on holiday all together again. Last year was our first time away all together. We headed to the coast and stayed in a three-berth caravan. Reminiscent of Julia Donaldson’s book, A Squash and a Squeeze, we were squished, but we had an amazing time. Before we even left, the children were begging to return. Yorkshire was supposed to be this year’s holiday destination. Fingers crossed please.

  1. We will…

… always argue, fight and get a bit annoyed with each other from time to time (isn’t that what all families do?), but deep down, we love each other very much. It’s lovely to see such strong relationships developing.
